*These terms of service are in addition to those provided by Thinkific Labs for the use of their website, content, and software.
For All Users
Users ("students") engage in a binding contract with The Narrative ARC, Andrea R. Cranford, and affiliate parties (this group of entities will henceforth be called “ARC”). They must remain in compliance with these Terms and all applicable laws to use this service.
No Academic Credit
Participation in our courses does not provide academic credit. ARC and its course instructors cannot provide transcripts or other educational materials for any educational institution or accreditation organization.
Refund Policy
Since each course has a 7-day free trial, refunds or exchanges are not available for any course. No exceptions.
Intellectual Property
All intellectual property available through this course is the sole property of ARC. No material created by either ARC or fellow students should be copied or reposted.
ARC respects the intellectual property rights of all students and other third parties. All material created by students belongs to the individual and will not be reproduced or reused for any purpose by ARC.
DISCLAIMERS
All information and content provided by ARC are in an “as is” condition and does not have a warranty of any kind, either implied or expressed.
If for some reason The Narrative ARC websites (http://thenarrativearc.org, https://the-narrative-arc.thinkific.com/) or the Thinkific website (http://thinkific.com/) is down for technical or any and all other reasons or the user cannot access the website for any and all reasons, ARC disclaims any and all liability related to your use or lack of use of the services on these websites. You agree and acknowledge that you purchase this product at your own risk.
Every attempt (at least three attempts with the email address provided) will be made to contact users if a foreseeable pause, termination, or lag occurs, but this is a courtesy and, in most cases, will not be possible as these issues are usually unexpected.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, ARC are not liable for any direct, indirect, miscellaneous, special, punitive, or incidental damages. These parties are not responsible or liable for any tangible or intangible profit or revenue losses, loss of data, information, or content incurred either directly or indirectly.
ARC is also not liable for the behavior, comments, or actions of third-party users or other students, including illegal, abusive, slander, or offensive conduct and behavior.
By agreeing to these terms of service, disclaimers, and limitations of liability, you acknowledge that they are reasonable and fair and that you will abide by these terms.
Any cause of action related to these services must occur within one year of the cause of action; otherwise, action is barred.
The Honor Code
All students must agree to this code of conduct:
- I will not plagiarize any work. All responses to projects and assignments will be my own.
- I will not complete work for other students or provide answers to other students.
- I will not engage in any other misconduct, harassment, or abuse of other students.
- I will not promote illegal behavior or threaten or endorse real-world or online violence or any other illegal behaviors.
The ARC reserves the right to suspend, disable, or terminate the accounts of users who break these terms of service.
